The Fall Festival at Rancho De Las Golondrinas which celebrates Spansh Colonial culture and lifestyle is a very colorful event which is held on the first weekend of October. Volunteers demonstarate many different aspects of life inthe early days of Spanish occupation in New Mexico. For many years volunteer Della Roybal demonstrated the baking of bread in a traditional outdoor oven called an horno oven.
