The Santa Fe Indian Market is held in August of each year on the Santa Fe Plaza and is the largest Native American Art event in the country. The 2012 Indian Market filled the plaza with shoppers, tourists, dancers and artists.Dancer Darius Sanidad of the Eagle Clan from the Tsimshian, Tlingit and Haida tribes of Alaska came to Santa Fe with the Git Hoan dance group. Git Hoan means People of the Salmon.
