Held each year on the first weekend of October, the Fall Festival at the historic hacienda of Rancho de Las Golondrinas near Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a colorful celebration of harvest, history and culture. Volunteer Kate Kosman and her assistant demonstrate the techniques of dying natural wool with natural materials the way the colonial settlers did it.
